Well, yet another Rainfurrest has come and gone. And it was incredible, of course. I had an amazing weekend full of fursuiting, laughs, friends, and fun! I will do my best to summarize everything, sometimes days at cons run together.
On Wednesday, the work day dragged, I knew that day we were leaving and I couldn't stop looking at the clock. Finally! We left early at 2 PM, went home, picked up the dogs and dropped them off at the sitter. Then back home again to pack all our things. We had a car packed with fursuits. We got on the road pretty quickly and off we went! We stopped for dinner and continued on our way. We got to Snoqualmie Pass just in time........for rock blasting. Hahaha! We had to sit in stopped traffic for an hour. Grave and I watched some anime while waiting so it didn't seem too long. (The girl in the car next to us was dancing the hour away, it was entertaining too.) The road crew did a great job, and we were stopped for just under an hour and then we were on our way again. Once we got to move again we made great time in getting into Seattle. We got to the hotel and man was I relieved to be there. This hotel just kinda feels like home. We got checked in no problem, it took a couple trips to get all our stuff up the room. We had a nice room! Not in a bad spot. Grave continued to bring stuff up as I rearranged and unpacked a little. I couldn't wait to get Kuhori out of her tote, she had been in there since the night before! Grave had me go with him to park the car since we'd have to pass registration on our way back in. Luckily we had caught it just before it closed and got our badges in no time at all! (Keelan actually checked me in haha, thanks buddy.) We got back up to the room where we started to settle in and unpack while waiting for Greyscale and Toner to arrive with Siro. This year we brought a rolling coat rack and some wire shelves for our suit masks, which all ended up being super handy. Grave put the shelves together and Kuhori claimed the top spot along with Grave, and Heart and Beat got put in there too. I unpacked my suits and got them situated, so glad to finally have them out of their luggage! Not long later our roommates arrived! We got them all in and settled a little, the laughing started right away, of course. The rest of the night we just chilled and talked, got settled in. We all went to bed at a pretty decent time, all of us working that day and all made us tired.
The next morning we woke up slowly, slept in which was great. Greyscale and Toner still needed to get badges. I was ready to suit, so I decided to put on Kuhori with the Hiccup armor outfit! I got dressed and we headed down to check things out. Not a whole lot of activity as it was still early. They went and got in line and I walked around and socialized, saw a lot of people I knew and met new friends while suiting around and showing off my new costume. I even met Temperance, who made my Hiccup outfit! It was awesome to thank her in person for her awesome work. The guys got their badges pretty quickly, so I kept suiting around and socializing even after because well, we took the time to suit me up why not. After I got tired and hot we went back upstairs and I desuited and cleaned my suit out. We went to check out the dealers den since it had just opened. I commissioned Painted Dog yet again for a couple sculptures and then walked around. The other tables I really wanted to hit were not open yet so we just walked around a little bit. Soon the other guys, Taf and Shallic said they were almost here! So we started heading for the main area only to see Taf's truck outside. We went into the lobby and tackled them before heading up to prep for the connecting room. Once they came up we opened the doors and we had our connecting rooms yay! We hung out while they settled in and then went and finished some unpacking on our side. By this time, I was extremely tired. A new medication I am on temporarily was making me drowsy. To the point I was just about a zombie. We were hanging out and talking and what not until the evening, just about everyone decided to go out and go swimming, by this time I almost couldn't move I was so tired. So I showered and went to bed.

So I showered and went to bed.
The next morning I didn't feel nearly as sluggish, but was still feeling the health issue I am currently having. So I decided to not suit just yet. We went to the dealers den first so I could hit the tables I wanted. I bought a "petato" from Mango Island first. Then went to Matrices table to talk about the refitting of Snoqualmie's bodysuit. I was looking around at her table when I noticed a huge foot paw. A big stompy one! She saw me looking at it, and asked if I wanted to try it on.
It all went downhill from here.
I tried one on, and it was so comfy, so big, so awesome! I started flailing and getting super excited then they brought out the second one to have me wear them both. I put the other on and I just started freakin out. I loved these big stompy paws so much ahh! I was flailing and even screaming about how much I loved these. I had to have them. Fortunately, Grave paid Matrices as I was freaking out. So suddenly, they were mine! (Thank you Grave! You spoil me.) I was stomping around everywhere after this. I looked kinda silly in my kigu with giant paws but I was having fun so I didn't care. After a bit I was like "What the heck am I gonna do with these? Waffles Maybe? Snoqualmie? Both?" I stomped around the con for a while while we socialized with many people before heading up to rest and get ready for the Twinky Arts meet which I was hosting. Soon I got dressed, and you know, casually put the big paws back on and we headed down for the Twinky Arts photoshoot. We were meeting up in the lobby where we hung out for a while so that we could wait for others to arrive. We ended up getting a great group this year! Once we had waited for a while I grouped everyone up and we found a spot indoors to take the photo while I had my friend scout somewhere outdoors to take some too. We took a few indoor photos and what not then I led them all outside where we took a few more photos, I also offered some solo shots for anyone who wanted them. It was a fun time and it was awesome to see so many Twinky Arts suits! Thanks to those who came!

After the photoshoot we wandered around a little more before heading to the room for some food and rest. Matrices came up to our room to check out Snoqualmie's bodysuit and see me in it so she knew what to fix. We ended up having a lot of fun hanging out with her! We hung out, chatted and what not for a couple hours. She figured out what needed to be done with the bodysuit so I can actually wear it. After she left, I decided that I finally wanted to suit, even though I wasn't feeling 100% by any means. So I got suited up and we headed for the con space, I forgot about my condition just about as soon as I walked off that elevator. I was so happy to finally be suiting and so many seemed happy to see me! I suited around and interacted with people and we slowly made our way to the dance. I actually wasn't supposed to be dancing due to my condition, but we got up to the main area and I heard the music and I just couldn't stay away. I walked right in and we started dancing. I kept it easy for a while, but soon the high feeling of the music, bass, lights, and being surrounded by friends overwhelmed me and I started dancing like there was no tomorrow! I had so much fun! We danced for a while then took a headless break. I wanted to dance some more, so we went back out for a few minutes before calling it quits and heading out. I wasn't ready to desuit yet, so I suited around the con center then down in the hotel for a while. I spent some time in the lobby being a dog, rolling around and being cute. Interacted with lots of people there and met a few people I had talked to online before. I had so much fun, I still wasn't ready to desuit but it was very warm in the hotel and I figured I should desuit before I get too tired. So we all met back up in the room and chilled out for a while. I took a shower and went to sleep before the others. They drank a bit and had some fun while I was asleep.
The next morning we all slept in and woke up slowly. We hung out in the room eating some breakfast before getting in suit for the parade. It was a nice relaxing morning. Soon we suited up and headed down to go to the main parade meetup area. We noticed the camera man on the ladder and decided to try and get a front spot for the photo while we had the chance. We all hung out and chatted until they took the photo and we started the parade. I am happy with how active I got to be in this parade, I didn't feel rushed. We had a nice pace that I was able to keep up with. I waved, danced and wagged my way through the parade and I had a lot of fun! Probably one of the most fun parades for me because I got to go at such a nice pace and not run through it. Once we got to the end they said they were taking a second photo outside, a couple of us went to the front to be in the second photo. I had a great spot but unfortunately the person next to me threw their arm up last second and kinda covered me! But I'm still right there in the front.
After that photo was finally done, we went back inside and headed to our room for a break, I had to be back in suit in a couple hours for the OneFurAll gathering so I took the chance to clean my suit and rest. I decided to get back in suit a little early to go to the main photo booth in the hotel before the OFA shoot, so I suited up and headed down. I waited in line and got some photos with the dragon, and in front of the other backdrop.
After that was done I headed back to the lobby and saw a couple other OFA suiters there so I went and joined them and waited for the time to take the photo. I hung out and suited around, I was pretty hyper, not sure why but I was. I was jumping around and running and what not. Just having fun. Soon LoboLoco lead the group out to the courtyard area to group up. We ended up having a lot of photographers following us! Hahaha. Loco helped organize and pose the group then we had lots of people taking group photos of us. It was a smaller group this year, but fun none the less!
After the group photo Loco was nice enough to take some single shots for us too. I had fun hanging out with everyone.
After the single photos I wanted to go up to the con center and get my fursuiter badge. So I headed up that way, as someone told me it was open. I got there and it was closed. But I wanted to just get it done? So I ended up waiting for just about an hour to get in. I kinda sat around in suit, we talked to a few people. I started to get frustrated and just about gave up but then they finally opened the door! I went in and got my photo taken, only to be told the badge would have to wait another hour. I was frustrated as years past it was done right there for you, but I said okay and left. I finally went and desuited and got some much needed food. We all ate a great dinner and relaxed until the rave. We headed to the dance about midnight, I wore Kuhori with her suit and tie. The dance for Recca's set was super crowded. Every time I tried to actually dance I would run into someone, so I tried some light dancing for a while. Soon I wanted a headless break and we ended up hanging out in there for quite some time. After some rest and water I wanted to go back out, a new DJ had started and we walked out. The dance floor was a lot more empty and we were able to dance and have fun without running into people. So I went all out, I really got into the dance and had a blast. I went up to the stage to dance for a bit, and I got really into it. I started dancing really hard and had an amazing time! However a stomach full of water and dancing like that? Not my best idea. Soon my stomach started to hurt something fierce, so I got off the stage and went into the headless lounge to try and chill. The calmer I got the lesser the pain was. But I decided it was probably time to head back to the room, dancing like that with a sloshy water filled stomach was a bad idea. But I still had fun! We got me back and desuited and I rested on the bed a little bit before cleaning my suit and brushing it. After the pain had eased, I went to take a shower. Only to find a surprise in there....thanks roommates. Hahahaha! (We won't get into that one) Anyway, after that I took a shower and we relaxed and hung out for a while before we all sorta just passed out.
The next morning we again took our time waking up. Last day, aw man. Already? I wanted to suit the day away! That morning we wanted to hit up the dealers den one more time before it closed, I decided to wear my Hiccup outfit, but only myself this time not with Kuhori. So I put that on and we headed out. I took some photos at the photo booth again, and we continued up to the con center. I went and picked up my fursuiter badge (Finally) and we went to the Dealer's Den. We walked around and checked things out before deciding we needed some food. The boys went and picked up the food while we headed towards the lobby. By this time I somehow acquired sunglasses and 2 beer mugs, I turned into "Party Hiccup" and I ran around the lobby being silly. Soon the boys showed up and we went up to the room to enjoy our lunch. I wanted to wear my costume again, so I put on Kuhori with the Hiccup costume and we went back out. I stopped by the photo booth again and then we wandered about the con space and hotel for a while just having fun and socializing. After that, last minute, we decided to still try and film my music video, which I had figured was canceled since we didn't film on the Thursday. But everyone was into trying to film it last minute so I got excited and we all went out. We filmed in the courtyard and in the hallways and it was a lot of fun. All of Team Tail Twerk together making a video was great. Thank you Taf for being the camera guy so that Grave could join in.
After filming we had a room pizza party with some of our other friends, we played this really fun game and we had a blast! I ended up eating WAY too much pizza, and kinda felt bad afterwords. I ended up not suiting, even though poor Heart was going to go out (I didn't get to wear Heart at all, I'm still sad about it). We decided to chill in the room, as we heard the Dead Dog was well.....dead. Hahaha! So we partied in our room, a couple roommates drinking, maybe a little too much. It ended up being a uh.....crazy night. It's even crazier when you're one of the sober ones haha. When the fun calmed down, I started to pack my things, I knew we had to leave in the morning. So I started putting stuff away while still chatting and hanging out with my friends. Soon we all decided it was time to go to bed, and time to say goodnight to Rainfurrest 2015.
The next morning we woke up later than we were supposed to, so we did our best to finish packing up in a timely manner. We packed up, and it took a few trips to pack up the car. Once all of us had packed up we went to Denny's for breakfast before admitting the con was over. We had so much fun together and I'm glad we went. After we were all done, we hugged each other, took photos together, and said goodbye. It was time to say bye to RF 2015. We all separated and drove our separate ways. Knowing that this adventure has ended, but it won't be too long until the next one. It was a beautiful day all the way home, Grave and I made it back in great time and picked up the dogs before getting home.
RF this year was SUPER amazing, mostly thanks to my amazing friends of Team Tail Twerk. I had such an amazing time with them, I love them all so much. I didn't suit as much as I would of liked (Which is funny cause I did suit a lot). Poor Heart didn't get to go out at all, but, it's ok. She will have another chance. My health condition did slow things a little for me, but not even kinda enough to make this weekend anything but fun. I feel like I missed out on Thursday a little, but, shit happens right? I still had an amazing time and I would relive it over and over again. Thank you to everyone who helped make this con as amazing as it was.
Until next year! See you at Rainfurrest 2016!
