Kuhori's Fursuit Reviews!
I have been an active fursuiter for years, and I have purchased and worn many suits! All from different makers! One thing I get asked a lot is my experience while working with certain makers, and how the overall product is. So I decided to add this page! Here I will explain all pros and cons of my fursuits with certain makers as well as give an overall review of the fursuit! Huge thanks to all the fursuit makers who have worked with me throughout the years!

Kuhori Boi by OneFurAll Studios
Review written in March 2019, Updated June 2019
Maker Name: One Fur All Studios
Type of Commission: Plantigrade Fullsuit Price Range: Average Date Commissioned: April 14, 2015 Date Received: February 2, 2019 Wait Time: Higher than average Deadline Met?: No Contact: Most contact was done by my husband. He says by email was spotty, but by Telegram was pretty good. Features: Fullsuit, Following eyes, moving jaw, hand sculpted claws, earrings, removable/changeable hair, changeable eyelids, changeable tongues, large waggy tail, outdoor feetpaws, top surgery scars, LED Eyes, puffy hand paws, different fur length accents. Comfort: Extremely comfortable. This suit was defiantly made to fit me. The bodysuit is very comfortable, the feetpaws are perfect size, the hand paws fit me nicely and the head was made to my exact measurements. The entire suit is extremely comfortable to wear! I could easily wear this suit for hours (and I have!) Vision/Ventilation: Vision is Amazing. Material is extremely easy to look through. The eyes are large so I have a wider range of vision. Blind spot is easy to ignore, and smaller than my previous OFA. Ventilation is also pretty good. This head does not have all the vents my previous OFA has, but the larger eyes and larger nose/nostrils make up for lost air flow. Opening the jaw lets in lots of fresh air as well. Durability: This suit is still quite new, but has been worn a lot. So far I have not needed to do any kind of repairs to this suit! Ease of Wear: I can get into this suit 100% by myself. The bodysuit has a great system that makes getting in and out super easy. Their new suits use magnets instead of snap buttons which is very easy and efficient. The mask needed some wearing in but after a bit it was easy to slip on and off. The tail is easy to get into the bodysuit. I get in and out of the suit under 10 minutes by myself. OFA defiantly makes easy to wear fursuits! Ease of Care: It has only been washed once, all but the head. I tossed everything but the head into the washing machine and it came out good as new. The head can be washed by a portable carpet cleaner. Spraying out everything is easy after wear, the head however you cannot just spray out. You have to wipe it out with alcohol wipes. The suit is easy to care for! Overall: 9.9/10 Pros: Truly incredible fursuit! And the studio blew me away with all the amazing extras they did. The options I have thanks to changeable hair, eyelids, and tongues is extremely fun. The fursuit is built to last, very durable. All seams are sewn extremely well. They tested a new hand paw pattern and they are amazing and fun! The tail is also larger than most of their other tails and it is amazing. They captured me and my character so extremely well. The entire suit is incredible and I cannot thank the studio enough! Cons: Very long queue wait time, communication can be spotty (Telegram helps!), requested deadlines missed, shipping costs are high due to importing from Canada. (They do their best to save as much as possible!) Would I Recommend?: If you can stand the long queue wait time, yes! OFA builds suits unlike any other. This suit is incredibly easy to wear, I could wear it for hours. You can see the artistry put into their fursuits. You could be waiting a long time, but the product you get in the end is incredible. |

Maker Name: One Fur All Studios
Type of Commission: Plantigrade Fullsuit Price Range: Average Date Commissioned: June 22, 2012 Date Received: December 17, 2013 Wait Time: Higher than average, 18 months, but it was the amount of time I was quoted. Deadline Met?: No Contact: Contact was always made within 48 hours of my mailing. Features: Fullsuit, Following eyes, moving jaw, claws, earrings, specially made hair, bouncy tail, outdoor feetpaws, different fur length accents. Comfort: Extremely comfortable, every aspect. Mask is shaped perfectly to my head. It is extremely comfortable and easy to wear. Sometimes where my nose touches can hurt after long suiting sessions, however. The bodysuit is also extremely comfortable, when first received it was very baggy but has since been taken in by the maker, and fits perfectly now. Feet were also made perfectly to my size. The entire suit is extremely comfortable. Vision/Ventilation: Vision is Amazing. Material is extremely easy to look through. Blind spot is there, but hardly noticeable. Ventilation is great with the moving jaw. Can get a bit stuffy when suiting inside or places with no air flow. But once you open the mouth lots more air comes in. The mask also has an open nose and muzzle vents to keep air flowing. Durability: It has needed small repairs here and there such as: Tail came off backing, some snaps needed reinforcing, the nose cracked (violent nose boop), small hole in the hand paw, and new feet bottoms. All of these small, and easy fixes. No claws have fallen out, and no popped seams at all! It is built extremely well. Ease of Wear: I can get into this suit 100% by myself, which is amazing. The bodysuit has a great system that makes getting in and out super easy. The mask took some practice but now I slip it on no problem. The tail was complicated at first but I get it into the bodysuit no issues. I get in and out of the suit under 10 minutes by myself! One of my easiest suits to wear! Ease of Care: It is quite easy to care for, it is washed like a normal suit, hand and machine done. Everything but the head is machine washed, and the head is washed by hand with a mini carpet cleaner. Overall: 9.8/10 Pros: Extremely amazing suit, happy with it more than I can explain. It is built very well, has given me very little problems, it fits me perfectly, Scribble was nice to work with, before, during, and after the building process. You can't get this style of suit from anyone else! He made my dream come true, Kuhori could never of turned out better by anyone else. Cons: Long queue wait time, communication can be slow, deadlines missed, shipping costs can be high due to importing from Canada. Would I Recommend?: If you can be patient for the wait time, yes. Communication can be spotty, but you will get a suit you will love for years to come! I am overly happy with the product I have received. It has lasted many years and gone on hundreds of adventures with minimal repairs needed. |
Kuhori by More Fur LEss
Review written January 2018. Updated June 2019
Maker Name: More Fur Less
Type of Commission: Partial Fursuit Price Range: Average/High Date Commissioned: October 29, 2016 Date Received: November 30, 2017 Wait Time: Slightly over average. Deadline Met?: No Deadline was requested Contact: Emails and Telegram messages were usually replied to quickly once the building process began. Features: Partial, moving eyebrows, removable eyelids, changeable tongues, adjustable ears, feral handpaws, delux outdoor detailed feetpaws, plastic claws, large earrings, style-able hair. (Changeable hair added by Matrices in 2019) Comfort: Very comfortable! While the suit is quite heavy, it still fits me quite well. The hand paws being the only issue, but they just took some getting used to. The head, hands, and feet are all very heavy, but just needed some practice. Now I am used to the weight and can wear the suit no problem! The tail when I got the suit was uncomfortable as it was attached to a back brace, or kidney belt. I was a little too large for this brace so I ended up needing to modify the tail to be worn normally. But it was easy to do! (Just keep this in mind if you order the kidney belt tail) Vision/Ventilation: Vision is Amazing. The eyes are very large and the blind spot is small. I am able to see very well. I also can look out of the mouth if needed. Ventilation is also very good, the mouth is large and always open, the big smile helps aid in air flow, as do the large eyes. Durability: Very durable, have not needed to repair this suit at all yet. All seams are reinforced well! Ease of Wear: I can get into this suit by myself, and it is very easy to get on. The feet I slip on and there are velcro shoes inside so they can be tight. Hand paws just slip on as does the mask! The tail was originally on a kidney belt but I have modified it to work with a normal belt. The ankle cuffs are a bit large and tucking them into my bodysuit is the only thing I need help with, otherwise I can suit up easily. Ease of Care: The hands and tail are washed in the machine, but the feetpaws are much too heavy so they must be hand washed by green machine. The head can be washed with a carpet cleaner, so no issue there as well. Washing the inside of the head is a little tricky due to the lining being very loose inside. But it can be done! The paw pads on the hands and feet are also easy to wipe clean. Overall: 9.6/10 Pros: Extremely amazing suit, I am so happy with how he turned out. He is very cute, and the range of emotions I can have is extremely fun. The suit is made well, very durable, and working with MFL was great. All the features they offer make it a lot of fun! Cons: Had to ask several times for WIP images, slightly longer than average wait time, suit is very heavy. Would I Recommend?: Very much so! Working with MFL was great! I did have to ask for WIP photos often when our turn came, but soon enough they shared many photos with us and the rest of the building process was smooth sailing! They mailed the suits to us quickly after they were done and have been wonderful to us even after! I would recommend this maker to anyone a fan of the super toony style. We love our suits! |

Tammie by Mixed Candy
Review written May 2017. Updated June 2019
Maker Name: Mixed Candy
Type of Commission: Plantigrade Fullsuit Price Range: High Date Commissioned: January 5, 2015 Date Received: April 5, 2017 Wait Time: Higher than average, over 2 years. Deadline Met?: Some were missed, but final requested deadline was met. Contact: Went back and forth. For a while it was weeks between answers, then during the building process they were answered under an hour. Towards the end emails were slower again. But Telegram was also used which was nice. They answered very quickly there. Features: Fullsuit, 2D eyes, claws, toony features, attached bouncy tail, outdoor feetpaws. Comfort: Very comfortable, built well to my sizing. The head is a little large but not enough to be a problem. The bodysuit is built just as I requested. Slightly loose, which to me is very comfortable. The hands are large, but again not a problem they are also quite comfortable. The feet were a size too big, so walking can be hard after a while. But in general, very comfortable. Vision/Ventilation: Vision is fantastic! Can hardly even notice the blind spot, if at all. Just the general below the muzzle cannot see of course. Ventilation is pretty good, the mouth is always open so there is pretty good airflow. Durability: This suit has proven to be very durable! I have worn it very often to many different places. I have yet to have to repair this suit! Ease of Wear: Generally very easy to wear! The feet paws can be an issue but the rest is fantastically easy and comfortable to wear! Easy to get in and out of the bodysuit, the mask simply slips on, as well as the hand paws. Ease of Care: Everything but the head is machine washable, so cleaning it up is a total breeze! The mask has lots of airbrushing so washing her face I need to be careful, but overall, very easy to care for! Overall: 8/10 Pros: Fantastic suit, I am so very happy with it! Great expression, sewn well, the airbrushing is done well, and I love the tail and bodysuit. Love this suit very much! Cons: Long queue wait time, Communication can be spotty depending, shoes peeling out of the feet paws after a couple of wears. (Has since been repaired) Would I Recommend?: Yes! I love the suit so very very much, and am so happy with it! But the wait time was quite long, and I was left in the dark for quite some time, including the build start of the suit. There was a hiccup and a suit built was not what I had originally ordered but the maker offered to rebuild, which I greatly appreciated! Guidelines were given but was still surprised to hear it had been started. Simply wish I had gotten notice or some kind of design/color email. But once she arrived it made it all worth it! So if you like the style I can say go for a slot, it is built very well, everything is very professional, and I love it so very much. |
Kuhori V4 by Beetlecat Originals
Review written September 2016. Updated June 2019
Maker Name: BeetleCat Originals
Type of Commission: Mask Price Range: High (On auction) Date Commissioned: July 5, 2016 Date Received: August 22, 2016 Wait Time: Just under a month, fast turn around was part of auction. (Not their average wait time) Deadline Met?: N/A Contact: Always within 24 hours of mailing. Tweets were responded to very quickly. Features: Fully adjustable head, handmade earrings, super amazing hair in front and back, moving jaw, resin eyes, resin based mask, fur to match OFA bodysuit. Comfort: Super comfortable! Since it is adjustable I can make it any size I need! There is a comfortable lining inside the mask that makes it easy to wear! Vision/Ventilation: Vision is very good for a realistic mask! Blind spot is there but easy to look past, window is smaller than toony but still very very good. General muzzle blind spot. Ventilation is decent. The whole muzzle is open and hallow, and because of his smile there is always a place for the air to escape. However I do have some trouble opening the jaw so it can get quite hot inside, there is padding in the back of the head (for the hair) that makes this mask a little warmer than most. Durability: Everything is built Extremely well! Everything is sewn in well, resin is very durable. I do not feel I will have any durability issues with this mask. Ease of Wear: Very easy to wear!! Because of the adjustable feature, I can make it big for easy suit up or desuiting. It is very simple and fast to adjust it back to my head as well. The inside is very comfortable. I do have some trouble opening the jaw very wide, but that's about the only issue. Ease of Care: The mask is heavily airbrushed, so washing it is a slight challenge. I gently wash it with a carpet cleaner. After wearing, spraying out the inside is very easy, there is nothing for me to have to watch out for so I get to just spray it! Overall: 10/10 Pros: Amazingly gorgeous mask, amazing realistic style from one of the best makers in the fandom, hair is awesome, built very well, fast turn around time, easy to contact, Beetle was such a sweetheart and would gladly work with her again! Cons: Jaw does not open super wide, but that's not a huge problem! Would I Recommend?: YES. Yes, yes. Beetlecat's work is simply incredible. Beautiful to look at, wonderful to photograph. Beetle was amazing to work with, very kind, quick responses, and work you cannot beat. I would never hesitate to work with her again! |
Kuhori V1 by Costumes by Belle
Review written in 2014.
Maker Name: Costumes by Belle
Type of Commission: Mask Price Range: Low Date Commissioned: Summer of 2010 Date Received: December 20, 2010 Wait Time: About 4 to 5 months. Still longer than quoted time. Deadline Met?: No Deadline Contact: Contact was very spotty, sometimes within a couple hours, sometimes days/weeks in between. Features: Earrings, foam based mask, extensions for hair (Was originally fur hair), 2D toony eyes. Comfort: The mask itself was pretty comfortable to wear. It was a foam/balaclava based mask. Overtime it did stretch and became a little big. But overall, it was always comfortable. Vision/Ventilation: Vision was not good. Small window, and material was difficult to look through, namely in sunlight and in dark places. Blind spot wasn't too bad. Ventilation was very good with the mouth always being open. Until the muzzle started to sag then it became more restricted. Durability: Not very durable, many seams popped and many holes were found after a couple months of wear. Muzzle also started sagging after a few months to the point it was pointing down instead of outward (Partially my fault as I replaced the foam nose with a resin one, may of been too heavy for muzzle). Needed many repairs, was retired due to falling apart. Ease of Wear: Easy to wear, just slips on! No complaints here! Ease of Care: Was decently easy to care for except the many repairs needed. Washing however was easy. Overall: 6/10 Pros: Was easy and great to learn with for my first suit, maker was kind and easy to talk with. Cons: Fell apart quickly, when returned so she could give her better hair, she came back with a completely different style that was no longer character accurate, The head was foam and balaclava which stretched overtime. Would I Recommend?: I would, but lightly. She was wonderful to work with and I still love this suit. But many things could (and maybe have been, I am unsure.) improved on. I do not know if she still takes commissions or not. |
Kuhori V2 by Twinky Arts
Review written in 2014.
Maker Name: Twinky Arts
Type of Commission: Mask only Price Range: Average Date Commissioned: Spring 2012 Date Received: September 27, 2012 Deadline Met?: Yes! Wait Time: Average, a few months. Contact: Very easy to contact, she answered all emails within 24 hours. Also easily contacted via Twitter. Features: Follow me eyes, earrings, hair spikes, fur sculpted bangs, foam based mask, hand sculpted teeth. Comfort: This mask is quite comfortable! It is all foam and is shaped to my head nicely. It is a bit on the heavier side, but comfortable none the less! Vision/Ventilation: Vision is great! Pretty big blind spot, but vision through the eyes is good. If I position the head just right I can also look out the mouth if needed. Ventilation is great with the open mouth. Durability: Extremely durable, have never had to do a single repair to this mask! Still looks good as new! Also durable enough to be washed in a washing machine! Ease of Wear: Very easy to wear, just slips on and off! Ease of Care: Very easy to care for, this head can be machine washed easily. I however generally wash with a mini carpet cleaner. Very easy to clean! Also easy to disinfect, still avoid the eyes as much as possible. Overall: 9.8/10 Pros: Great build, very durable, fast queue time, quick build time, many WIP photos sent, great toony style. Cons: Very large mask, somewhat difficult to travel with, a bit on the heavier side (I have heard her newer ones are lighter tho!). Would I Recommend?: Yes! I had a wonderful experience with Twinky Arts, I would recommend them to someone who is wanting a toony styled fursuit. She was extremely kind, and easy to work with. She cares so much about her customer's happiness! Planning to get a second version in the future =] |
Snoqualmie by Fur Fancy Costumes
(Refurbished by Matrices)
Review written in 2014.
Maker Name: Fur Fancy Costumes
Type of Commission: Mask Price Range: Low/Average Date Commissioned: Purchased September 2013 Date Received: November 2013 Wait Time: We purchased this mask after it had been started, progress was a bit slow, but steady until a couple weeks before the con. Deadline Met?: Yes Contact: She was very easy to contact, and answered within 48 hours. Features: Foam base, lined inside, movable tongue, toony eyes, large plush nose. Comfort: This mask is very comfortable! Around the mouth area there is a lot of glue which irritates my skin after long wear time, but otherwise it is very comfortable! Very light. Vision/Ventilation: Vision is decent, large blind spot, so I have to favor one eye over the other, but eyes are easy to look through. Ventilation is amazing! Large mouth area lined right up with my mouth and nose allows for amazing air flow. Durability: The suit is very well made, I however did have it refurbished by Matrices as the cheeks and eyes were extremely uneven upon arrival. However, even before that it was well made durability wise. Ease of Wear: Extremely easy, it just slips on no problem! Ease of Care: Easy to care for! I wash this mask inside and out with a mini carpet cleaner. Only issue is the blue liner on the inside can bleed if I'm not careful. Disinfecting it is also very easy! Overall: 7/10 Pros: Very comfortable, super cute, Amazing ventilation, built well. Cons: Mask upon receiving was Not symmetrical, and the neck fur was very bunched up. I ended up having it refurbished. However, everything else about the mask is fantastic! It is built well, and has some of the best ventilation of any of my suits! Would I Recommend?: Yes, I however would advise asking for many WIP photos and looking at them carefully. But the maker was very kind, and continues to be! She was easy to contact, and ever so kindly delivered it to my husband at MWFF. |
Heart by Tunny Says idk
Review written in 2015.
Maker Name: Tunny Says IDK
Type of Commission: Partial Price Range: Average Date Commissioned: March 2014 Date Received: September 26, 2014 Wait Time: Average, We waited the amount of time quoted! Deadline Met?: Yes! Contact: Tunny kept in contact with us, always answered our questions and when delivery time came he kept contact! He always answered within 48 hours or less! Many WIP photos sent. Features: Foam base, changeable tongues (3 different tongues each suit!), plaid nose and claws, stuffed hand paws, toony eyes, moving jaw, matching suit with my husband. Comfort: The comfort of this mask is crazy! It is lined very well, and just made to fit my head extremely well! I love the fit of this mask. The hands and arm sleeves are also very comfortable. The feet paws are quite large on me, and the lining in them is slippery, but they are still comfortable. (I have discovered that simple slip on shoes inside the feet fixes this issue!) Vision/Ventilation: Vision is very good, I have a larger blind spot, but vision out the eyes is good! Ventilation is very good through the mouth, I only have troubles when the shorter tongue becomes un-tucked from between the teeth. But otherwise, it is very easy to breathe in! There are also vents up by the ears which is amazing. Durability: We have had no problems with these suits, they're built extremely well! No seams have popped or anything! Ease of Wear: Extremely easy, the mask slips on no problem, the arm sleeves have elastic to keep them together which is easy, hand paws slip on easily, tail is general with straps, and feet slip on too. No problems with this! Ease of Care: Very easy to care for! The mask has been washed in the machine before and came out perfectly fine. I however prefer to wash with a carpet cleaner which works just fine! Spraying it out after each wear is also very easy. Overall: 9.5/10 Pros: Great maker to work with, suit is fantastic, he did excellent with the artistic liberty designs, amazing ventilation, great features, unique style, quick response times, lots of WIP shots throughout the build. Cons: The feet are very large on me, and the material used to line the inside of them is slippery making it hard to walk in them. But literally, is the only flaw! This commission went amazingly well! Would I Recommend?: Yes yes yes! To the moon and back! Tunny is amazing at what he does, his style is very unique, and he builds them super amazingly. I could not recommend him enough! He sends many many WIP photos via email and twitter to keep you updated and make sure your commission is what you want! I highly recommend TunnySaysIDK! |
Pike by Beetlecat
Review written in 2015.
Please take note--This is a pre-owned suit I received from the original commissioner. This was not commissioned by myself. Many questions will have N/A as answers.
Maker Name: BeetleCat Type of Commission: Partial Price Range: N/A Date Commissioned: N/A Date Received: March 6, 2015 (As a gift from my husband) Wait Time: N/A Deadline Met?: N/A Contact: N/A Features: Resin based mask, mohawk, moving jaw, following resin eyes, silicone nose, puffy paw pads, silicone feet paw pads. Comfort: It is almost like this suit was made for me, however I purchased it from the previous owner. The mask is Very comfortable! The arm sleeves are a tad tight on me, so we added some fur, the hands are very comfortable too. The feet are a little odd to wear, they need a bit more support. Slipping a shoe in there does the trick! Vision/Ventilation: Vision is okay for a realistic style mask, it is a small vision window for sure. Through the mesh is great! Just a small window. Ventilation is fantastic! Durability: I have not had a problem with the suit since it came into my possession. It is built extremely well! Ease of Wear: Very easy to wear. Mask has elastic which you pull over your head before slipping it on. Arm sleeves and hands just slip on no problem. The belt loops on the tail are quite odd and small, but are elastic so they can stretch over a belt. The feet are very hard to wear however. There is no side support on your feet aside from fur so they are awkward to walk in. Ease of Care: There was some airbrushing on the mask, which has since very much faded and washed off, however otherwise, Extremely easy to care for! The mask has to be hand washed with the carpet cleaner, however the rest of the suit can be tossed into the machine! Overall: 9/10 Pros: Very comfortable, very well made, the details are incredible, fantastic materials chosen, amazing style. Cons: Problems with feet as mentioned above, but otherwise no cons as I was not the original commissioner! Would I Recommend?: Even though I was not the original commissioner, I would Highly recommend Beeltecat. Her work is outstanding, and this suit is a few years old now. I have worked with her myself too (above) and her work is amazing! |

Comfort: I cannot believe how comfortable this mask is! Whatever it is lined with is amazing, and the fit is very well! Vision/Ventilation: Vision is fantastic! Blind spot is there, but not bad. Nugget by Multicolored Bark (AutumnFallings)

Maker Name: AutumnFallings
Type of Commission: Fullsuit (Started as partial. Upgraded less than a year later) Price Range: High Date Commissioned: Purchased by my husband via auction at BLFC2016, bodysuit commissioned a few months later. Date Received: May 14, 2016 (Partial) Wait Time: N/A suit was purchased by my husband at con. Features: Foam based mask, toony eyes, big squishy nose, changeable eyelids, padded hand paws, digitigrade padding, attached tail, outdoor feet. Comfort: Extremely comfortable! It's almost like I'm not wearing a mask at all! It is very light, the lining is nice feeling. Hand paws are big and padded but still very comfortable. Feetpaws are AMAZINGLY comfortable. Bodysuit is also the most comfortable digitigrade suit I own. Vision/Ventilation: Probably the best vision in any fursuit I have ever worn! The eyes are large and easy to see out of, placed perfectly, very small blind spot. I also can see very easily and well out of the open mouth! Ventilation is Amazing! The mouth is wide open which gives way to excellent air flow. I can wear this suit for hours! Durability: This suit has been worn very often, and never have I had to repair the suit! Very durable, and extremely well made. Ease of Wear: Extremely easy to wear. Mask slips on flawlessly, hand and feet paws are easy to slip on, bodysuit is easy to slip on and get into, feet just slip on. If I fullsuit, tail does not require a belt. If I partial, the tail is easy to put via belt. Although, the belt loop can be hard to find and use cause it is made of the fur. Ease of Care: Very easy to care for. Everything but the head can be machine washed (Although I feel it could be machine washed)and the head is easy to wash with the carpet cleaner, inside and out. Spraying it out after wear is easy, just avoid the eyes. Cons: Only con was an incident with the alcohol spray and his eyes (easily fixed!), otherwise I have No complaints about this suit! Would I Recommend?: Yes, yes, yes!!! MultiColoredBark is extremely professional. This suit is so well made and the style is so unique. She has answered any questions I have had, and was very kind when the suit was given to me. Possibly one of my best fursuit/maker experiences! If you get a chance to own a suit by MCB, I HIGHLY recommend this maker!!! I will be working with them again! |

He was shipped immediately after I approved photos (Same day) Features: Foam based mask, 2D toony eyes, outdoor feetpaws, large tail. Comfort: Extremely comfortable! The head is very light and easy to wear. Bodysuit is generally easy to get on, however because of the zipper being on the back I cannot suit up alone. Hands slip on no problem, tail is worn via belt, and feetpaws are easy to get on with a little help as well. Vision/Ventilation: Vision is very good! Blind spot is very minimal. Ventilation is excellent! His mouth is always open at least a little bit. The eyes are larger and air escapes through them and the mouth area. Very easy to breathe in. Durability: The suit is brand new, however all the seams are done extremely well and the suit seems to be built very very well. Professional! Ease of Wear: Very easy to wear. I need help suiting up, but once I'm all in the suit is very comfortable. The bodysuit is large, but still comfortable and it breathes very well. Ease of Care: Have not had to wash him yet! But sp far spraying him after wear has been easy. Overall: 8.9/10 Pros: Extremely comfortable, durable, Great fur colors used, easy to wear, great vision and ventilation. Cons: Bodysuit is much too large in the midsection, back zipper makes it hard to suit up alone. Only cons! This is a great suit! Just needs a bit of refitting! Would I Recommend?: Very much so! Fursuit PArts
Paws by Fehfeh13
Maker Name: FehFeh13
Type of Commission: Hand and Feet Paws Price Range: Low Date Commissioned: Late 2010 Date Received: Early 2011 Wait Time: A couple months Deadline Met?: Yes Contact: It was good! Answered and kept me up to date on WIP Features: Claws and Paw Pads, indoor feet paws. (Were later converted to outdoor paws) Comfort: When first received, the arm sleeves did not fit me, but she quickly responded with an easy way to make them fit. Everything was very comfortable! Durability: Extremely durable! These pieces lasted me years! In fact, the feet paws are still worn from time to time! The hand paws have since been separated from the sleeves, and the sleeves are still in use today with Plush Kuhori! (They have been sewn onto the bodysuit) The hand paws were retired just because I got new ones. These pieces have lasted years! Ease of Wear: Very easy to wear. Although, I added elastic to the sleeves to make them stay up as the elastic in the sleeves did not keep them up very well. Ease of Care: All these pieces are machine washable! Very easy to care for! Overall: 9.9/10 Pros: Extremely durable, as stated, some of these pieces are still in use 6 years later! Great to work with, showed many WIP photos, fantastic feet paws shape. (These were her first paws!) Cons: Sleeves did not fit upon arrival, she quickly responded with how to fix it! Would I Recommend?: Yes! Although I am unsure if she still takes commissions. However she was great to work with, kept me up to date, and everything she made me was wonderful and has lasted many years! |
Kuhori Bodysuit by Que's Costumes
(Refurbished by Matrices)
Maker Name: Que's Costumes
Type of Commission: Digitigrade Bodysuit Price Range: Low/Average Date Commissioned: October 2011 Date Received: February 10. 2012 Wait Time: Low, A couple months Deadline Met?: Yes Contact: Always answered within 24 hours. Features: Digitigrade padding, front zipper Comfort: When the bodysuit first arrived, it was extremely large on me, however it was still comfortable! Durability: The suit has only had a couple popped seams in high stress areas (And even then it was a few years old) However the zipper when I first got the bodysuit was too small (one of those hidden zippers), and would get caught in the fur much to easily. It was hard to get in and out of. However, the suit has had little durability problems! Ease of Wear: Before being refurbished, the suit was hard to wear, it was very baggy, there was a lining inside which made it very warm, and the zipper was very hard to work with. After refurbishment, all of these problems were eliminated! Lining was removed and used to cover the foam padding in the legs, the groin area was redone, the whole suit was brought in, and the zipper replaced. Ease of Care: Before the refurbish the padding was Not removable which made washing very difficult. After refurbishing the padding was made removable and it can now be washed in a machine! Padding can be washed or simply disinfected. Much easier to care for now! Overall: 6/10 before refurbish, 9.9/10 after. Pros: Matched my concept art, soft fur chosen, contact was easy, was kept up to date on WIP. Cons: Very baggy, padding not removable, lining inside was too warm, zipper was too small. All of this fixed with refurbishment! Would I Recommend?: Yes! I was her first ever bodysuit commission, she had never made one before. Because me reporting what was wrong she has improved! I would recommend her! Her digitigrade padding shape is very well done! |

Comfort: All of these are extremely comfortable. If there is a professional in the fursuit world, it's Matrices. She knows how to do things. Durability: Both sets of hand paws are amazingly durable! The feet paws are as well, but the indoor paws can make things difficult. Only issue I have had was holes in the bottom of the feet which was fixed easily and quickly! Ease of Wear: The hand paws are easy to wear, the feet paws are as well. The plush paws are easy to slip on, but 100% no dexterity of course. So they make wearing a little harder! Ease of Care: All items can be thrown into the washing machine! Very easy to care for! The feet however require sandals if going outdoors. Overall: 10/10 Pros: Very comfortable, made to the best standards. Durable, look amazing, Matrices is amazing to work with, the best fursuit parts you could get your hands on. Cons: Indoor feet require sandals, plush paws you lose all dexterity (But that is a given). Would I Recommend?: Yes, yes, yes, yes, YES. Matrices is always the first person I recommend anyone too! Overall: 8/10 Pros: Sewn great, super soft fur chosen Cons: Sleeves were very short upon arrival, my wrists show often while wearing them as they don't cover enough of the gap from my paws when I move around. Fur had to be added, which was done by Taf, they now work perfect. Would I Recommend?: Yes! Just always make sure your measurements are accurate, I am unsure which one of us got them confused. But always double check! These sleeves now belong to my other suit, Waffles! |

Snoqualmie Bodysuit by Que's Costumes
(refurbed by Matrices)
Maker Name: Que's Costumes
Type of Commission: Digitigrade Bodysuit Price Range: Low to Average Date Commissioned: November 17, 2014 Date Received: September 12, 2015 Wait Time: Almost a year, around 10-11 Months. Deadline Met?: Yes and no, was asked for it to be with me 2 weeks before RF, it was not done by then, but ultimately my deadline was RF and it did arrive on time for that. Contact: Always answered within 24 hours. Features: Digitigrade padding, front zipper, hand sewn snowflakes, attached large husky tail. Comfort: Unfortunately, this bodysuit did not fit me upon arrival. It was very tight, I could not move my arms, and padding did not fit inside. It was not very comfortable. After refurbishment the suit now fits wonderfully! Durability: Upon trying the suit on for refurbishment purposes, a seam popped. More than likely due to how tight the bodysuit was on me. The feet that came with the bodysuit had popped seams. However, the tail, and snowflakes are Very well done. The snowflakes were hand done, and were sewn well! After refurbishment, extremely durable! Have not had a problem since! Ease of Wear: Before Refurbishment-Not easy to wear at all. As stated above, extremely tight, we could not put the padding in, arms could not be moved much, Awkward seams everywhere, couldn't bend over or hardly move. After refurbishment, fits wonderfully, I have all range of motion now, and padding fits! Ease of Care: Easy to wash in a machine, tail is even washable in the machine! Overall: 3/10 before refurbish, 9.9/10 After Refurbishment. Pros: Matched my concept art, great materials chosen, I am obsessed with the tail, snowflake markings are hand sewn and done very well. Cons: Not wearable. Too tight, cannot put in padding, arms were extremely short as well as the legs, cannot move my arms, cannot bend over, and walking was a little labored as well. Feet paws were not wearable at all, too small for my feet huge globs of hot glue inside made them painful. Upon arrival, this bodysuit was not wearable for me, it was immediately sent home with Matrices at RF for refurbishment. (This was easier than sending it back to the maker. I did report all these problems!) Would I Recommend?: I still would, as I have gotten other products from this maker that are well done, and my husband's bodysuit was very well done as well. However, I would make sure you send measurements along with a DTD, that way the maker can use both. The tail, and snowflakes were outstanding. The hand stitching of the markings was very high quality. She just needs some more practice. After Refurbishment: The suit has been refurbished from top to bottom including an all new lower half, many upper reworks, and new feet paws. The suit now fits wonderfully after being refurbished by Matrices. All issues with the suit before refurbishment was brought up with the maker, and hopefully she can improve based on my issues. |
