Snoqualmie by Fur Fancy Costumes
With pieces by Matrices, Coonec Creations, and Que's Costumes
Meet Snoqualmie the Husky. Built by Fur Fancy Costumes, Matrices, Coonec Creations, and Que's Costumes.
A super silly and derpy dog that does, well...dog things!
This fursuit was a gift from my husband Grave. Grave bought me the mask for Christmas 2013. This is a super fun character to play and I love this fursuit!
Snoqualmie is your general derpy husky dog. He is super silly, yells a lot, and has the silliest accent! You will usually see him romping around with Baloney, his friend (also a husky! Performed in by my husband) and they are usually fighting, mostly about super dumb things. But he is still a husky! Loves to play in the snow, and pull sleds!
He is named after "Snoqualmie Pass" and/or "Snoqualmie Falls" in Washington. We have to go over Snoqualmie pass to get to Seattle from where we live, the name of the mountain pass means a lot to me as I love going over those mountains, it's a route i've driven over many times in my life. So it became this fun husky's name!
This Fursuit/Character is Male.

About the Suit:
Mask: Ventilation is very good, the mouth is open from the inside out. My nose and mouth get air. Vision is decent, blind spot is a little bigger, but nothing terrible. He is very durable, have not had to do any repairs on this head (Aside from the refurbishment). Being made with foam he is durable, but can be squished a little. Easy to travel with. The head is large, but very light.
Handpaws: Adorable, and awesome. Padded fingers to help create the toony look! Dexterity is not too bad, not perfect but not bad. Very comfortable! Built very well, I have not had to do any repairs on these hands.
Bodysuit: Has had to have a lot of work done, but, it is now comfortable and wearable! The snowflake markings were hand sewn in very very well and look fantastic on the suit. The tail is attached to the body. The thigh padding is easy to work with as well. Some spots on the suit are a little tight, but I don't feel very restricted during wear.
Tail: Absolutely Glorious. One of my top favorite tails I own. Attached to the bodysuit, and held up via belt loops. It was built to stand up in a curl like an actual husky, and the maker nailed it. It sways and wags perfectly as I walk and with any kind of wiggle movement. I love how large and fluffy it is. Literally for me, the perfect vision of a husky tail on a fursuit.
Feetpaws: Large stompy feetpaws! These paws are heavily padded, and go all the way up past my knee. Can get warm, but are so much fun it doesn't even matter. They are very large, shaped with foam padding. There is a shoe inside. These are older feet that were refurbished by Matrices in 2015, then I bought them. They work perfectly for this character! I have not had to do any repairs on these feet, very durable!
Overall Thoughts: Amazing suit, I love this suit. He was a partial for a long time, and the bodysuit needed a lot of rework before I could wear it, but once he was done and I saw him all together I was extremely happy. He came together beautifully and I couldn't be happier with him. He is so much fun to wear not only because of the character I have created for him, but because of the amazing work the fursuit artists had done.
