Pike by BeetleCat Originals
Meet Pike, the Sabertooth Tiger built by BeetleCat Originals.
Surprise gift to me from my amazing husband on my 24th birthday in March 2015. The full story behind this suit is here. He is named after "Pike Place Market" in downtown Seattle, WA. Seattle is one of my favorite places ever, so I wanted his name to come from there, so Pike was finally decided on!
Pike is a spunky, "bad ass" kind of beasty character. He isn't as nice as my other characters, sometimes having to think about hugs when asked for them. He has a pretty rotten attitude a lot of the time! He doesn't bite, but can scratch.
This Fursuit/Character is Male.

Details
Features:
Resin/Foam based construction
Resin eyes
Moving Jaw
NTF Fur Mohawk
Silicone Feet Paw Pads
About the Suit:
Mask: Decent ventilation, the mouth never fully closes so air flows nicely. Vision is okay for a realistic suit. It's quite limited, but the material used is easy to see through. Fantastic detail in this mask with the longer fur accents and great Mohawk. Saber teeth are built well. Mask fits very comfortably.
Hand Paws: Very comfortable, sewn together very well. Good detail in them! Paw pads are made well, claws seem to be resin. Light airbrushing around the claws gives them a feline feel. Slightly large on my hands, but no issues there.
Arm Sleeves: Since I am the suits second owner, they were not made for me. I needed to add some fur to extend the top area of the sleeves but otherwise they fit me quite well! Sewn together beautifully, held up with elastic straps.
Tail: Fun and cute little nub tail! Made well, belt loops are a thin elastic which can be difficult but not bad. Really bouncy!
Feet Paws: Outdoor feet with heavy duty made paw pads. They are quite odd to wear, and are very bottom heavy. I couldn't wear them safely until I slipped shoes into the inside. However they are built very well, the claws are very durable and they look So awesome.
Overall Thoughts: Amazingly awesome suit. I admired this suit before I got my very own and I am so proud to own it now. He is hard to wear around a lot of events, being so realistic looking. But I try to give him all the love I can. He may be an older suit but he is in amazing condition! Beetlecat did an amazing job on this suit.
