Kuhori by Costumes by Belle
With pieces by FehFeh13, Que's Costumes, and Kulkun
Meet Kuhori the Wolf, version 1, my very first fursuit. Built by Costumes by Belle, Kulkun, FehFeh13, and Que's Costumes.
My first fursuit! Was a partial, then later a fullsuit. Wore this one until it started falling apart.
I got my first fursuit in late 2010, the partial was completed early 2011. I wore this suit a lot! It was my introduction to the fandom and I still love it to bits! It went on many adventures before I sadly decided to retire it due to the mask falling apart. I still own it, and plan to always! I may get it refurbished one day!
I got them as a mask only in late 2010, I had bought the tail a few months before. The paws came in early 2011, and I started suiting like crazy! The suit was sent in for changes in mid-2011. Then I got my first bodysuit soon after.

About the Suit:
Mask: Built over a balaclava. Light and easy to wear. Hair was originally fur sewn into bangs, but later was changed to wig extensions. Nose was also changed from a sewn fleece nose to a resin nose. Vision wasn't very good, but I was still able to suit and enjoy it. Ventilation was pretty good because of the open mouth, however it started to decline as the muzzle started to sag over time. The balaclava that it was built on also started to stretch, making the mask looser fitting on me. Had to do quite a few repairs during it's lifetime. It has been retired due to being too fragile for wear. Up until it's retirement however, it was a pretty great beginner head!
Handpaws: Upon arrival, the sleeves (which were attached to the hands) did not fit, the maker quickly let us know how to fix it. they were built very well, and the handpaws wear time surpassed the mask. The hands were not retired until May 31, 2013. The arm sleeves were separated from the paw, and are still being used to this day. The hand paws featured claws from Dream Vision Creations and sewn in paw pads. They were sewn extremely well!
Bodysuit: (Before refurbishment, this body is still used today with Plush Kuhori) This was a friends first bodysuit, and they did pretty decent. The suit was lined and had a small hidden zipper as well as foam padding. The suit fit me very loosely when it first arrived. It did not get worn often until after refurbishment due to the liner making it very warm and difficult to wear. It was however sewn very well, and the furs used were very soft. The bodysuit was not worn with V1 Kuhori very often, as it wasn't refurbished until after she was retired.
Tail: (First larger tail) Bought on Furbuy via auction, my first fursuit piece! Was made very well. Large with great shape! I never had to do any kind of repairs on this tail. The fur was nice and soft, and the belt loops were made with fur so no straps showed. Tail is in storage, but could easily still be used. (Second smaller tail) Made very well! Still semi-being used today. Nice furs chosen, very soft. Straps were durable. No repairs ever had to be made. However the fur used did seem to discolor, and the black has turned into a purplish/blue.
Feetpaws: Still used to this day! They were originally indoor feet, at least with V1 Kuhori. Built around shoes and made with foam. Featured Dream Vision Creations claws. Built very well, never had to do a repair on them!
Overall Thoughts: Overall, a very good beginner fursuit. She was not built as well as other suits, but I wore it a lot and it helped introduce me to fursuiting. I still own it, and hope to refurbish it one day to possibly wear again. I had a great time in this suit up until their retirement! I can thank this suit for getting my suiting journey started!
